A premium product trapped in a generic category.
Tidbit was already producing at a premium level. Thoughtful compositions, strong craft and a product experience that clearly went beyond a typical bakery. But the brand didn’t communicate it. Online, Tidbit was being confused with home bakers. In sales conversations, it was being compared against mass-market bakeries. The food had moved forward. The perception hadn’t.
"The product had evolved. The brand hadn’t."
Tidbit wasn’t a bakery. The workshop just named what it had become.
The workshop surfaced a simple but important shift: Tidbit had outgrown the word bakery. The range, finish and intent behind the product belonged to a different category. Bakehouse. A second insight came from the product itself. Tidbit’s bite-sized offerings were designed around one clean, easy pick. That became the line: Tidbit Bakehouse. Always the right pick. We translated the positioning across the identity, messaging, photography, iconography, menus and in-store touchpoints. Stop competing on the bakery shelf. Own the bakehouse category.

The audience changed. The average order changed with it.
Once the brand started signalling the quality of the product, Tidbit began attracting customers better matched to what it was already offering. There was less price friction, less explaining and fewer comparisons with mass-market bakeries. Within 60 days, average order value increased by 10%. No product changes. No pricing gimmicks. The market simply began seeing Tidbit the way Chef Bhavna already did.
“Now we feel confident showcasing our brand. The clarity in our marketing is at an all-time high, and the identity finally matches the product.”— Chef Bhavna Tayal Founder, Tidbit Bakehouse
