Miaura case study cover

The product was new. The customer had no category for it.

Akshitha Jain was building modular fine silver jewellery for young professionals. Pieces designed to be rearranged, personalised and built over time. But customers understood silver in only two ways: traditional heirlooms or affordable fashion jewellery. Miaura fit neither. The product was different. The brand had no way to make that difference immediately visible.

"The product was ready. The category wasn’t."

Her family built jewellery to be inherited. Miaura built jewellery to be rearranged.

The workshop uncovered the tension at the heart of Miaura. Akshitha came from seventy years of jewellery built around permanence, tradition and inheritance. Miaura offered the opposite relationship: premium jewellery designed to change with its wearer. That became the positioning. Personal expression over inherited identity. We translated it across the identity, photography, packaging, social media, lookbook and retail experience.

The category became visible. The marketing started working.

Once Miaura had the right context, customers no longer needed the idea explained before they could understand its value. The brand began doing that work for Akshitha. Within 90 days, marketing ROI grew 30%, while the product itself remained unchanged. Miaura also gained something harder to measure: a clear customer, position, message and system for building the brand forward.

The brand gave me the clarity to present Miaura the way I always saw it. I now understand my customer, my position and where the brand needs to go next.Akshitha Jain, Founder
